Cathelco is world leading designer and manufacturer of equipment for ships and offshore installations. Their product range includes marine pipework anti-fouling (Cathelco AF) systems and impressed current cathodic protection (Cathelco ICCP) systems to safeguard the hulls of commercial and naval vessels against corrosion. Cathelco Seafresh specialises in the production of reverse osmosis desalinators (watermakers) for yachts, commercial and naval vessels.The offshore energy sector continues to gain in importance.

After a long period of research and development, Cathelco joins the market with unique system for the treatment of ballast water (Cathelco BWT), which is based on a combination of filtration and UV sterilization which is off the use of chemicals, both in the treatment process and in the cleaning system. Cathelco BWT system in April 2014 received IMO approval.
